Matthew Matt James, born on December 5, 1991, at North Carolina. His parents are Manny James as well as Patty James. He is the son of Nigerian while his mother is caucasian American. In 2010, he graduated in Sanderson High School and furthered into Wake Forest University where he earned a bachelor's degree in economics in 2015. James became famous when the show The Bachelorette as a reality TV show star. In 2020 he got selected as the bachelor in season 25 becoming the initial African American male lead which will premiere in 2021. James's appearance, size and ability to laugh make him an ideal choice for the role. Rachael Krakconnell, who was his wife to be with for the rest of the season. In 2021 he partnered with well-known dancer Arnold to compete in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold placed 12th on the show.
