Alicia was hired by FilmStruck which is a TCM streaming service, in the year 2015. Malone had recorded Robertosborne's and Ben Mankiewicz's intros in order to prepare for her TCM broadcast hosting audition. She auditioned in 2017 for the Turner Classic Movies presenter position. The company hired Malone on January 1, 2018. Malone has discussed the difficulties that women face within the industry of film in two distinct TEDx presentations. Maree was also featured on several shows including the Today Show NPR CNN The Movies Documentary series MSNBC Access Hollywood E! Entertainment Tonight (ET) MTV and ABC's 2019 Live from the Red Carpet Oscar preview. Malone also co-created and hosted Fandango's YouTube channel Indie Movie Guide.
