Matthew Matt James, born 5 December 1991 in North Carolina. James is the daughter of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. The father of Manny James is Nigerian while his mother is caucasian American. In 2010, James graduated of Sanderson High School and furthered to Wake Forest University where he received a bachelor's degree economics in 2015. James became famous when he made his screen first appearance as a reality show star in The Bachelorette. He was picked in 2020 to be the next bachelor for The Bachelor's season 25, which was The first African American male lead which later premiered in 2021. James is the perfect fit to play the role because his height, beauty and physique are humorous. Rachael Krkconnell has been chosen as James' partner for the season. In season 30, (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, James competed alongside dancer Arnold. James along with Arnold were ranked 12th.
